Altar Servers

Altar servers are mainly young men and women who assist the priest at the sacrifice of the Mass. They are drawn to be close to the “action” of the Mass where God’s word is proclaimed and His Body and Blood are made present for His people. It is required that altar servers are at least at the beginning of the 4th grade in school. Adult altar servers also assist at morning Masses and at funerals. Anyone interested in serving should contact the Rectory.
